Welcome!
This paleontological database is newly launched and currently under development.
Many species from numerous localities are yet to be added, and we are continuously expanding its content.
We encourage you to revisit often to stay up to date with the latest data and features.
This website is dedicated to the cephalopods of the Permian and Triassic periods, with a particular focus on ammonoids and other fossil cephalopods from these pivotal intervals in Earth’s history.
All specimens presented here come from my personal collection, built over many years out of genuine passion for paleontology and fossil cephalopods. This project is not an institutional database, but the result of careful collecting, observation, and study driven by curiosity and enthusiasm.
The identifications and classifications provided on this site are made to the best of my current knowledge, based on available literature and comparisons. However, paleontology is a constantly evolving field, and errors or outdated interpretations are always possible.
For this reason, any suggestion, correction, or additional information is warmly welcomed. Constructive feedback from collectors, amateurs, and professionals alike is greatly appreciated and contributes to improving the accuracy and value of this work.
I hope this site will be a useful resource and a source of interest for anyone interested in Permian and Triassic cephalopods.
